Abstract:
This article uses the sister concept of paradox ? double bind ? to precisely capture the various components of organizational paradoxes. This inventory enables to show how double binds have recently drastically increased, notably with the simultaneous diffusion of management systems and specific discourses; and by which processes they generate stress and ill-being at work. This analysis opens up paths for practice lowering the detrimental effects of paradoxes, both for persons and organizations.
