Abstract: 1997 war das vierte Jahr eines kräftigen Konjunkturaufschwungs in Dänemark. Das reale Bruttoinlandsprodukt (BIP) stieg um 3,4%. Die Lage auf dem Arbeitsmarkt verbesserte sich weiter: die Arbeitslosenquote betrug 7,9%. 1998 bleibt der Aufschwung zunächst kräftig, im zweiten Halbjahr wird er sich jedoch spürbar abschwächen. Das reale BIP dürfte um 2,75% expandieren und die Arbeitslosenquote auf 6,75% zurückgehen. Die dynamischste Komponente auf der Nachfrageseite werden erneut die Bruttoanlageinvestitionen sein, der Export verliert weiter an Schwung.
