Abstract: Das ifo Institut hat im Spätsommer dieses Jahres in Zusammenarbeit mit der TÜV Management Service GmbH Süddeutschland eine Erhebung im verarbeitenden Gewerbe zum Thema »Produktprozessoptimierung« durchgeführt. Insgesamt konnten 2300 Fragebogen in die Auswertung einbezogen werden. Die Umfrageergebnisse zeigen, dass die Industrieunternehmen in West- und Ostdeutschland Handlungsbedarf erkannt haben, um das optimale Produkt mit dem optimalen Prozessablauf herzustellen, und auch bereits entsprechende Programme durchgeführt werden.
