Abstract: Der Beitrag untersucht, inwieweit die Entscheidung, ob man in der Stadt oder auf dem Land wohnt und welche strukturellen Eigenschaften eine Stadt hat, dazu beiträgt, den Pro-Kopf-Ausstoß an schädlichen Treibhausgasen – insbesondere CO2 – zu reduzieren.
