Abstract: Clemens Fuest und Volker Meier, ifo Institut, zeigen, dass Emissionshandelsrechte, bei einer sachgerechten Gestaltung, das weitaus bessere Instrument zur Senkung von Treibhausgasemissionen sind als staatliche Kapitallenkungsinstrumente, wie die EU-Taxonomie. Unter bestimmten Bedingungen könne es sogar in dem Land, das die Taxonomie einführt, zu höheren Emissionen kommen.
