Abstract: Representatives of three of the members of the Arab League bordering on Israel (Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan) met at Beirut on October I, 1956, reportedly to discuss the lodging of a joint complaint to the UN Security Council relative to Israel military actions along their frontiers bordering on Israel.
