Anonymous

International Organization, 1947, vol. 1, issue 1, 152-153

Abstract: The Universal Postal Union, the most widespread of international associations, is composed of all nations of the world. Established by international convention, it was first set up in 1874 by representatives of national postal administrations. Details of the Union are worked out in a series of “arrangements” and “règlements”; members of the organization propose amendments to the documents mentioned and discussion then takes place in the Congress.
