Abstract: The European Central Inland Transport Organization, which had been created on September 27, 1945, as a temporary reconstruction organization, was dissolved following its ninth council session on September 29, 1947. In accordance with previous agreement its functions were assumed by a committee created by the Economic Commission for Europe.
