Abstract: This issue covers the work of the Security Council from the 429th meeting on June 24,1949 to the 448th meeting on September 27, 1949.At ten meetings, the Security Council considered the question of admission of new members to the United Nations in connection with two items on its agenda: the application for admission of the government of Nepal, and reconsideration of previous applications for membership.
