Abstract: The Fourth World Health Assembly completed an unusually heavy agenda during its meetings in Geneva, from May 8 to May 25, 1951. The meetings were attended by delegates from 70 countries and observers from 20 international organizations. Japan, Spain and the Federal Republic of Germany were admitted to membership, bringing the roster to 78 countries.
