Abstract: The Tenth Inter-American Conference was held in Caracas, Venezuela, from March 1 through 28, 1954, under the presidency of Dr. Aureliano Otanez, Venezuelan Minister of Foreign Affairs. Twenty American states sent delegations to the Conference1 which was also attended by observers from inter-American agencies and the United Nations and its specialized agencies. It was decided that the Eleventh Inter-American Conference would be held in Quito, Ecuador (LXIV).
