Abstract:
The Council of Deputies of the Southeast Asian Defense Treaty (SEATO) was reported to have held a closed meeting in secretariat, and the creation of a committee of experts on subversion, which had been previously proposed by Thailand. It was later reported that a group of 25 technical experts from the eight member states was scheduled to meet in Bangkok on May 3, to discuss measures for combating communist infiltration and subversion in Southeast Asia.
