Abstract:
This essay examines the role of digital applications in strengthening learning in school settings, highlighting three key dimensions: learning personalization, educational gamification, and formative assessment. Based on a review of literature, it argues that these technological tools can transform pedagogical dynamics by promoting greater student autonomy, intrinsic motivation, and continuous progress monitoring. It emphasizes that the positive impact of these applications depends not only on their technical functionalities but also on their critical and contextualized integration into teaching practices. It also identifies persistent challenges, such as the digital divide, insufficient teacher training, and the lack of educational policies that support the ethical and effective incorporation of these technologies. The essay concludes that educational applications represent a valuable resource, but their potential is only fully realized when mediated by clear pedagogical criteria, ongoing training, and an inclusive vision of learning. Within this framework, it proposes moving toward a more reflective and critical digital pedagogy focused on the real needs of students.
