DETERMINING THE MAJOR FACTORS INFLUENCING THE STRATEGIC PERFORMANCE OF RUSSIAN COMPANIES

Valera Smirnov

Economics 21, 2012, issue 1, 13

Abstract: The question of determining the main factors influencing the strategic performance of Russian companies is now extremely urgent because of the impossibility to solve many problems in the current order. This article raises the problem of how one could identify such factors, according to what criteria their impact on the effectiveness of the strategy would be assessed, and what tools it can be done with. Consequently, it was concluded that any factor for certain values can have a significant positive or negative impact on the effectiveness of the strategy. Criterion values can be reliably measured by means of methods that are used for predicting bankruptcy. One of the most accurate and efficient methods under today's conditions is neural network method for assessing the impact of factors on the implementation of a company’s strategy.
