Abstract:
This paper aims to identify the extent in which the interdepartmental conflicts from the local organizations can constitute a real barrier in assimilation of the concept of marketing in organizational practice in Romania. Based on an extensive literature review approach, which suggest different forms of conflicts between functional structures of an organization, and on a selective quantitative research, this article reveals the extent to which the assimilation of the concept of marketing in organizational practice in Romania may be hampered by their manifestation.
