Abstract:
The drug demand can be regarded as one of the primary necessities, but with a certain specificity. This is influenced by certain specific social-economic factors, and also by the budgetary policies. These factors contribute to maintain the population’s health with direct implications on the level, dynamic and on the structure of the pharmaceutical market, with direct economic implications on the GDP, and in the allocation of public health resources.
