Abstract: Taking into account the reality of the latest EU regulations regarding the non-financial reporting [1, European Parliament, 2014], according to which the companies with more than 500 employees will have to publish relevant information regarding environmental and social aspects inside their annual reports, the current study aims to identify the extent to which the Romanian entities are preoccupied with corporate social responsibility (CSR).
