Abstract:
Romanian higher education environment is increasingly competitive nowadays both regarding its education programmes and in terms of communication and public relations system. Universities from Romania must implement new changes required by a new vision, according to which public relations represent an essential element for the long-term success of an organization, which is highly dependent on community performance. The dynamics of interdependence relationships and universities’ interest in the international market will indisputably put compelling, complex and multidimensional pressure, so that each university will have to provide enough options to show transparency and respect for the public as well as subsuming these aspects as fundamental principles that shape and define their activities.
