Abstract: The augmented reality, as technology applied in medicine, meets the expectations of potential users, bringing them a lot of experience. The diversity of the use of augmented reality applications explains the need to develop and broadly apply the new concepts, and for this reason the authors conducted a theoretical research on the possibilities of using the augmented reality in the sanitary field. The advantages of using the new technologies are mentioned in the present paper, and consumer needs are described based on the theoretical research.
