Abstract: The analysis of unemployment and employment developments is generally an essential concern in contemporary economy, being a widely debated topic in the literature and intensely debated by analysts in the field, each expressing his doctrinal vision on this topic. The purpose of this article is to examine the leading causes that influence labor market developments and perform an analysis of the evolution of employment and unemployment in Romania.
