Abstract: Povezanost svetovnega gospodarstva, na katerega vplivata sodobna tehnologija in odpiranje trgov, in dejavniki globalizacije močno vplivajo na gospodarski položaj slovenskih organizacij in še posebej na konkurenčnost trgovskih organizacij. Z vstopom novih trgovskih verig in gospodarsko recesijo pa so se pogoji poslovanja še zaostrili.
