Abstract: This note analyzes an overlapping generations model including the worst forms of child labour based on Dessy and Pallage's (2005) study. We demonstrate the human capital dynamics and show the possibility of the emergences of a poverty trap given the worst forms of child labour, the high incidence of working children and the low level of human capital. The note concludes with some implications for child labour policy.
