Abstract: The article examines the role of household amenities in inducing the use of LPG for cooking. It observes better amenities significantly boost LPG usage. Despite a rise in LPG adoption, exclusive and universal dependence on LPG needs an improvement in both housing conditions and LPG access. Therefore, to realise exclusive LPG use, it is equally important to focus on improving household amenities along with widespread availability of LPG.
