Abstract:
This paper explores the intricate dynamics of work-family relationships from a dyadic perspective, analyzing the intersections between work and family roles in dual-earner couples. It examines existing models of work-family relations, considering the challenges of the "sandwich generation" and the impact of technological development and social transformations on work-family balance and conflict. The study also discusses the concepts of work-family conflict, work-family balance, crossover, and spillover effects, highlighting the importance of considering the dyadic perspective and the influence of social support on work-family dynamics. Future research directions focusing on comprehensive approaches are suggested.
