On the generalized Emden–Fowler and isothermal spheres equations

Radosław Antoni Kycia and Galina Filipuk

Applied Mathematics and Computation, 2015, vol. 265, issue C, 1003-1010

Abstract: In this paper we study the generalized Emden–Fowler and the generalized isothermal spheres equations. We examine singularities of solutions which are analytic at the origin. We also find an asymptotic behaviour of these solutions at infinity. A correspondence between these equations when one of the parameters tends to infinity is presented.
