Applied Mathematics and Computation, 2015, vol. 269, issue C, 59-69

Abstract: In this study, we develop two new non-monotone line searches and combine them into a spectral residual method. Furthermore, we apply these methods to complementary problems and discuss global convergence under several suitable conditions. Numerical experiments support the efficiency of the presented methods.
