Generalized viscosity approximation methods for mixed equilibrium problems and fixed point problems

Applied Mathematics and Computation, 2016, vol. 283, issue C, 168-180

Abstract: In this paper, we present a new iterative method based on the hybrid viscosity approximation method and the hybrid steepest-descent method for finding a common element of the set of solutions of generalized mixed equilibrium problems and the set of common fixed points of a finite family of nonexpansive mappings in Hilbert spaces. Furthermore, we prove that the proposed iterative method has strong convergence under some mild conditions imposed on algorithm parameters. The results presented in this paper improve and extend the corresponding results reported by some authors recently.
