Block representations of the generalized Drazin inverse

Abstract: Under specific conditions, we develop new formulae for the generalized Drazin inverse of a block matrix in Banach algebras. Also, we present necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence and the expression of the group inverse of a block matrix.
