Proposed wind-driven self-regulating peristaltic pump

Abstract:
A novel, variable-load peristaltic pump and its basic modes of operation are described. The pump is designed to be driven by a flexible-sail wind-rotor, although other wind-turbines could provide the traction. The system has a built-in speed-control mechanism.
