Coefficient of performance of an ideal absorption cycle

S.C. Kaushik, C.S. Tomar and S. Chandra

Applied Energy, 1983, vol. 14, issue 2, 115-121

Abstract: The conventional expression for the coefficient of performance (COP) of an ideal absorption cycle is misleading and a correct expression is derived. The deviation in the COP values from these two expressions increases with the increase in the difference in the absorber and condenser temperatures.
