Abstract:
The presented mathematical model needs, as input data, only the geometrical-physical properties of the building in a very aggregated form and the daily values of the climatic variables. The model is designed to obtain an accuracy of 95%. For this reason, the building is considered as an accumulation of many blocks. To obtain a short computational time, each block is simulated in the simplest way compatible with the target precision. The model is able to solve many problems in energy management.
