Communication schemes for electric energy management

Abstract: In order to implement an effective control and command function for electric-energy system management, some type of communication technology is necessary. This paper reviews the technologies which have been applied, or are being seriously considered, for use in electric energy management applications. Communication system structures are investigated and a brief description given.
