Abstract:
As a result of the inherent limitations of wind and solar energy with regards to their unpredictable fluctuations, the implementation of wind-solar-thermal power dispatching has emerged as a critical element in the advancement of sustainable energy sources. In order to reduce expenses associated with power generation and carbon trading within the power production system, this study has formulated a collaborative dispatching model utilizing the CVXPY solver, taking into account wind, solar, thermal, and storage components as an integrated whole. In the construction of collaborative dispatching model, a characteristic day acquisition model was employed to represent the yearly electricity load using a set of representative days as a basis. The mathematical expectation of wind and solar power generation was obtained through the utilization of kernel density estimation. The dispatching performances of the annual characteristic days were comparatively analyzed with four distinct scenarios in the verification process. The results showed that incorporating power storage and carbon trading simultaneously can effectively promote the collaborative dispatch on hybrid power with assistance of thermal, improve utilization rate of wind and solar power, while also reducing the costs associated with power generation.
