Abstract:
Photovoltaic power generation has become one of the key paths in the process of realizing the “dual‑carbon” strategic goal in China. However, the mismatch between the spectral response band of existing solar radiometers and the received band of photovoltaic modules has caused a large error in the evaluation of photovoltaic power generation efficiency. In this study, a solar photovoltaic power generation efficiency model based on spectrally responsive bands is proposed to correct the solar radiation received by the PV modules, to make the photovoltaic power generation calculated from the theoretical analysis closer to the actual value. Firstly, the study analyzes the solar radiation measuring errors of various instruments caused by different spectral response bands. After comparison, it is found that the error is not over 5%. Secondly, the concept and calculation model of effective radiation is proposed after experimental measurements of the photovoltaic system. Then, the effects of different inclination angles and orientations on the effective radiation were analyzed. The effective power generation efficiency of the photovoltaic module can be calculated based on the effective radiation, and the results show that 8 h after sunrise is the best working time for the photovoltaic system to generate power. Finally, the radiation frequency number method (AEHP method) was corrected using typical annual meteorological data. The corrected annual average effective efficiency is 28.66% higher than the existing study. This study helps to evaluate the energy efficiency of photovoltaic systems more accurately and provides a theoretical basis for the development of photovoltaic technology and full-spectrum use of solar energy.
