Second-law analysis of solar absorption-cooling cycles using lithium bromide/water and ammonia/water as working fluids

Abstract:
An availability analysis was carried out for each component in the system, and the results were tabulated. The lithium bromide/water system was found to be more effective, on the basis of both first-and second-law analyses, above 0°C.
