Abstract:
Radiative cooling of surfaces exposed to a clear sky can be used as an energy source: we have already shown in a previous paper that useful temperatures and powers can be reached using selective surfaces matched to the atmospheric transparency window. Here we present some measurements of the radiative power of a new selective surface and an example of a possible practical application.
