Fractional-differential approach to the study of instability in a gas discharge

Abstract: Using an approach based on the kinetic equation of fractional order on the time variable, two types of instability in a gas discharge are investigated: the instability of the electron avalanche and the sticking instability in a nonself-maintained discharge.
