Chaos, Solitons & Fractals, 2019, vol. 118, issue C, 106-111

Abstract: A new model for arrays of laterally coupled active lasing cavities is proposed in this work. By applying both the population inversion and its dynamics without adiabatic approximation of population, more comprehensive analysis of discrete active cavities achieved. Homogenous steady states of the model are analyzed and the rule of each parameter is assessed on the system bistability. The stable and unstable regions, fundamentally required in providing the emergence of bright and dark discrete solitons in this system are of concern.
