New types of fractal interpolation surfaces

Songil Ri

Chaos, Solitons & Fractals, 2019, vol. 119, issue C, 291-297

Abstract: In this paper we present new methods to generate fractal interpolation surfaces which generalize the existing fractal interpolation surfaces. We ensure that attractors of nonlinear iterated function systems constructed by Geraghty contractions are graphs of some continuous functions which interpolate the given data. In particular, we give two explicit illustrative examples to demonstrate the effectiveness of obtained results.
