Chaos, Solitons & Fractals, 2020, vol. 133, issue C

Abstract: In this work, we investigate exact solitary wave solutions for the 2D Sasa-Satsuma equation by using the envelope transform and Jacobi elliptic function expansion method. We obtain breather, bright and dark solitary wave solutions. It is shown that 2D Sasa-Satsuma equation has very rich dynamical behavior and can describe the propagation of nonlinear waves in many fields of physics.
