Abstract: A new type of Pearcey-like vortex beam, generated by the appropriate phase modulation of the optical wavefront, which propagates along a predesigned parabolic trajectory in the free space, is presented. This kind of beam forms several oval closed rings with uneven intensity and focuses along the trajectory. It forms a bending optical bottle (OB) and an off-axis focus. Through setting appropriate parameters, we can adjust the size of the OB and the focus position. Besides, the self-healing property outlines the antijam of the beam. This beam can be appropriately utilized on the optical trapping and the laser energy focusing in a certain degree.
