Chaos, Solitons & Fractals, 2021, vol. 147, issue C

Abstract: Bioeactors with various configuration are used for the biodegradation of industrial and municipal wastes. In this article we study dynamic performance of a nonlinear bioreactor model for the aerobic biodegradation of wastes. The proposed model accounts for oxygen transfer, cells decay, Contois growth kinetics for cells decay, while the biomass yield coefficient is assumed to depend on the substrate.
