Long short-term memory based intelligent control for switched system with a resilient event-triggered communication

Abstract:
This paper studies the event-triggered control for switched systems (SSs) subject to external disturbance and DoS attacks. The adopted long short-term memory (LSTM) neural network with a special gate unit structure has the ability to selectively forget and retain data information. It is used to approximate the external disturbance, and by this offline-trained network approximation, the controller is compensated to eliminate the disturbance. The utilized resilient event-triggering strategy (RETS) can ease network communication burden and reduce the impact of DoS attacks. Further, Zeno phenomenon is avoided by calculating the positive lower limit of time intervals between successive triggers. Moreover, a unified expression that combines switched subsystems subject to DoS attacks is proposed. Then, sufficient conditions for guaranteeing the stability of SSs are derived. Furthermore, the design criteria for controller gains is given using matrix inequalities method. Finally, a simulation example is presented to validate the feasibility and correctness of the proposed method.
