Abstract:
The three types of oscillatory nondegenerate solitons including asymmetric double-hump soliton, symmetric double-hump soliton and double-hump-single-hump soliton in the spin–orbit coupled spin-1/2 Bose–Einstein condensates (BECs) with weak Raman coupling are investigated. The spatial and temporal oscillation periods of solitons induced by the spin–orbit coupling (SOC) and Raman resonance detuning are found, respectively. Under the spatiotemporal reversal parity-time (PT) symmetric potentials, the parabolic, periodic and bound solitons are presented. The collision between nondegenerate–nondegenerate solitons is completely elastic, but interaction process of degenerate–degenerate and nondegenerate–degenerate solitons can be both elastic and inelastic.
