Abstract:
We investigate dynamical robustness in a network of globally coupled oscillators having a mixed coupling simultaneously presence of diffusive coupling along with conjugate coupling with attractive and repulsive interaction. Our study reveals that the interplay of diffusive-conjugate coupling in the oscillators enhanced the dynamical robustness of the global network. Our result show that diffusive coupling with attractive interaction leads the aging transition and reduce the dynamical robustness. While conjugate coupling with repulsive interaction counter the aging transition in the coupled oscillators as well as enhance the dynamical robustness of the overall network. This approach enhances the dynamic behavior of a damaged network composed of coupled active and inactive units, ensuring network survivability. A small change in strength of conjugate coupling as control parameter can restore oscillations even if the entire network experiences an aging transition. These transitions are characterized by an order parameter, including the average amplitude of the coupled oscillators. The effectiveness of this technique has been testified through analytical and numerical analysis in globally coupled Stuart–Landau oscillators and chaotic Rössler oscillators.
