Abstract:
Cooperation plays a pivotal role in advancing socioeconomic progress. This study proposes a novel cooperation-enhancing framework that incorporates adaptive link weight adjustments, establishing a connection between individual fitness and peer private evaluation through a tunable parameter α that modulates their correlation strength. Numerical simulations demonstrate that dynamic link weight adaptation outperforms conventional approaches in fostering cooperative behavior. Moreover, when link weights serve as mutual evaluation metrics tied to fitness, the system's cooperative behavior is amplified. The findings reveal a positive relationship between evaluation-fitness correlation intensity and systemic cooperation levels. Our results indicate that incorporating multidimensional fitness evaluations generates more sustainable foundations for cooperative strategies in ecologically complex environments. The proposed mechanism also exhibits remarkable system stability.
