Propagation dynamics and radiation forces of circular Airyprime beams with a fractional-order vortex phase

Abstract: In this paper, the propagation properties of the circular Airyprime beams with a fractional-order vortex phase are numerically investigated, and the autofocusing properties and radiation forces are mainly discussed. Both the focal intensity and focal length depend on the topological charge and the beam radius. The radiation force of circular Airyprime beams is given to discuss the particle trapping ability under different source parameters, and the effects of the fractional topological charge on optical trapping characteristics are analyzed in detail. Our results provide insight into the circular Airyprime beam with the fractional-order vortex and broaden their potential applications in optical manipulation and optical trapping.
