Abstract: In this paper we consider new weak and stronger forms of α-irresoluteness and α-closureness via the concept of gα-closed sets which we call ap-α-irresolute maps, ap-α-closed maps and contra-α-irresolute and we use it to obtain a characterization of α-T1/2 spaces.
