Abstract:
The effects of dust grain charge fluctuation, dust temperature, ion temperature, obliqueness and external magnetic field on the nonlinear properties of dust-ion-acoustic (DIA) solitary waves are studied in a hot magnetized dusty plasma consisting of a negatively charged, extremely massive hot dust fluid, positively charged hot ion fluid and vortex-like distributed electrons. A modified Korteweg de Vries equation (mKdV), which admits a solitary wave solution for small but finite amplitude is derived using a reductive perturbation theory. The numerical results are applied to Saturn’s F-ring.
