Abstract:
An analytic study on nonlinear variants of the BBM equation is conducted. The tanh method and the sine–cosine method are used. The study features a variety of exact travelling wave solutions. The work shows that the implemented methods provide exact solutions that include compactons, solitons, solitary patterns, and periodic solutions.
